How did it come to this?

That I have already lost all interest in a new season is telling and should be worrisome for Katz if others feel the same way.

It is ‘just a game’ but it used to be an escape; a reason to get excited. Now when I look at the schedule it brings nothing but frustration and anxiety.

Someone fix this (frank)ing mess!

Quick update: Garrison is in and Benning is out. Nurse and Russell are paired as are Garrison and Bouchard.

Agree can't believe that they haven't cleared out the management. Until that happens I don't see much difference. Nothing would make me happier than seeing the Alberta teams dominate and become relevant again. Battle of Alberta!

Really wish Oiler D could actually hit the (frank)ing net.

Wouldn't mind a full organizational sweep that sees the Hunter brothers take over. They at least seem to develop youth well and have a rock-solid team identity.

Nice win by the Oilers, Talbot looked good. Kinda impressed by their defensive game, Rangers couldn't get much going.

The Oil shut em down yeah, but didn't generate a whole lot themselves. Not terribly impressive considering it was against a rebuilding/retooling club.

I'll still take it though.

He has five points. It is definitely all him this season. Again. If McDavid tightens up his goaltending skill, he could get himself to the playoffs this year. I think that's what they told him to work on over the summer.
